If my archive folder has got too big and I want to create a series of smaller
archives, how do I do this?

Do I create a new pst file, give it a customised archive name (Archive 2007
for example) and move all items from the same year into it? Or do I rename
the existing archive folder, close it and let Outlook create a new one when I
open it again? Or none of the above!

You want to split an existing Archive folder into multiple folders or
you just want to stop archiving to that folder and start archiving to a
new folder?

Not sure. I think that's what I am confused about. My archive folder is too
big so what is the best way to create smaller archives?
