I'm using office 2000.

I can either physically run the archive or automatic run, and it will
create the archive file.
the file size is really small 513kb, and there are not emails in it.
when I expand the tree of the archive, there are only the folders.
I have tried using a date from a week ago, and there is no emails
getting archived.

Any ideas?

I understand that, but even if i move the archive date back to a year
ago, the file gets made but nothing at all is in it.
let me ask this.
what counts as modifing to outlook, thus making an modified date
specification?
