Archiving Messages in chosen format

I have Outlook 2007 - My sent items appear in the format I sent them (i.e.
HTML), however they switch to plain text when they get copied to Archive
Folders. I've looked to change as its annoying when you wish to re-send
something a few weeks old in a different format (i.e. Plain Text). Can't
find anything - you'd think it would be an option in the archive folder or in
Auto Archive option.

It's not an option at all because there in no native way in Outlook that
would cause the conversion in the first place. Is there an Info Bar at the
top of the message in the Archive folder telling you that Outlook converted
the message to Plain Text?

I have the same thing happeniing to 2 people I support on 2007, in which Sent
Items auto-archiving in Plain Text and not HTML. So the original formatting
is lost. This is not good when forwarding an email that was in HTML format.
Why is happening?
