How can I automatically have outlook 2003 archive (move) emails to a
separate folder on a different server? They only need to go as a group
sorting is not required. I would expect it to once a week or some time frame
to check for older messages and archive them. I don't think Outlook does
this automatically.

create a PST file on the different server you want and also create a rule for
outlook to move the messages into that file

Yes I thought of that but how do you set up a rule to move files over a
specified age? I have only seen the rules checking when mail arrives.

create a folder first on your inbox and create the rule to deliver into that
folder the messages. Then change the archive settigns to autoarchive very #
days and deliver to the PST on the other server.
