Archiving issue

Error while archiving folder "Inbox" in store "Personal Folders". Errors have
been detected in the file C:...\Microsoft\Outlook\archive.pst. Quit Outlook
and all mail-enabled applications, and then use the Inbox repair tool
(Scanpst.exe) to diagnose and repair errors in the file.
Following this procedure does not fix problem. Archiving was working before,
but now, does not work. Any solutions to this?

Did scanpst.exe find any errors?
What is the size of your pst-file?
If around 1.8GB, then start with a new pst-file or convert it to Unicode if
you are using Outlook 2003 or Outlook 2007.

To add, scanpst is not guaranteed to fix a corrupted .pst file. Restore it
from your backups. If you don't backup then you deem your data as worthless
or reproducible.

If the archive.pst is getting corrupted, you might want to start checking
what add-ons were installed for Outlook. They can prevent Outlook from
properly closing.
