AutoArchive acts upon the modified date of items, which can be quite different
than the Received date of those same items. Perhaps that's why nothing was
moved to the Archive folders. Are you sure you correctly enabled autoarchive
for the intended folders?

I assumed if I archived my Outlook.pst would shrink. Didn't happen.
Outlook.pst is 10GB+. Still is. I have a small 265K Archive.pst and Archive
folders in my mail panel that appear to be empty. What am I missing here? It
processed for maybe 20-30 minutes.

thanks

I disable auto archive so I could have control over it. I recently converted
to Outlook, so the date could be an issue. Is there a way to force the
archive on the posted received date? I opted to manual archive anything
before 7/1/2008.
thanks

Manual archive also works on the modified date AFAIK - add the Modified Date
column to your mailbox view and see what it says - if they are all the same
then I assume that you imported your mail from another program....

Converted from what? Depending on how you populate Outlook with data, the
modified date can play a big factor.

Manually moving the items to your archive PST is the best way. You can't
back-date the modified date.
