Disconnect you current archive.pst file from Outlook via;
File-> Data File Management...
Close Outlook and do whatever you want to do with the archive.pst file as
long as you either rename the file or move it out of the current folder.
The next time AutoArchive runs, it will create a new pst-file for archiving.
