I was referring to that you had a nice introduction in your OP but started
to use very short sentences when describing the issue omitting the necessary
details. Your re-post is indeed much clearer :-)
However, as DL mentioned as well, archiving works on the modified date of
the message and not on the received date. When you imported the messages
into Outlook (or exported from OE), the modified date got changed to the
date/time of the import. Basically you have 2 options now; move (most of)
the messages manually to clean up your pst-file or wait till the messages
age by themselves and get moved when the modified date reaches the age set
in AutoArchive.
