Is there a maximum limit to the size of an Outlook Archicve Folders?

Mine is 3,948,989 KB.
My Archive Folder is full of sub folders. Can I move folders off to a DVD/RW or CR/rw? Can I create a .pst outside of the Archive folder, to reduce its size?

How do you create a new .pst? Any suggestions?
