an employee allowed outlook to autoarchive. The old messages did leave his
outlook.pst file. He needs to retrieve a sent email that was auto archived.
The archive folder is empty. I checked the file location and searched for all
pst files. The archive.pst is there but is only 356K. I would think it would
be much bigger. Where did the messages go? I checked the archive settings and
it is not set to delete and messages.

Did you open the archive PST file anyway to be sure?

Hmmm, I'd also check any network locations the user has access, to ensure
the PST isn't there. I haven't seen cases where the items are removed from
the main PST but not moved to the archive.

It is a standalone laptop. No external drives. Any place else I could look,
anything else I culd do?

I appreciate your help.
