One of my users keeps getting this error:

Error while arching folder “Journal” in store “Mailbox – Username”. You are
attempting to archive your data to a Microsoft Outlook 97-2002 personal
folder file pst which is a non unicode data file. To preserve multilingual
data, you must choose a unicode data file, such as the Microsoft Office
Outlook Personal folders pst. See help for more information.

Windows – Delayed Write Failure

Windows was unable to save all the data for the file username\archive.pst.
The data has been lost. This error maybe caused by a failure of your
computer hardware or network connection. Please try to save this file
elsewhere.

HELP!!!

Apparently that person is using an ANSI format archive PST instead of a
Unicode PST. Have them, with Outlook closed, rename their existing archive
PST and allow Outlook to create a a new one when autoarchive runs again. That
should eliminate the problem.

Do you have your archive PST hosted on a network share? If so, that's a bad
idea. It's not supported and you risk damaging the PST to the point that it
would be unrecoverable. All PSTs should always be on the local hard drive.

A delayed write error may point to a drive issue.
