Archive and Restore System Restore Files

Hi.
Because of the amount of space the System Restore Files take, is it
possible to copy them to a CD and later
copy them back and have the same restore point functionality???

No, that is not possible.

You can reduce the amount of space allocated for restore points, which means
you won't be able to create as many of them. On the other hand, the amount
of disk space allocated by default (12%) holds more restore points than the
average user needs.
