Archive and Notes

I let Outlook autoarchive my data for the first time. It appears that it
includes the Notes folder when doing this, and I had information there that
I use frequently. Now when I open the archive.pst file, all the other
folders work fine, but when I click on the Notes folder I get an error
message, Outlook warning me that I may lose any unsaved data, and Outlook
closes and then reopens sending Microsoft an Error report.

Does anyone else have this problem when trying to open the Notes folder in
an archive file? I'm currently using Outlook 2003 SP-1, but I'm sure most
of the archived notes were made with Outlook XP. I'm not totally sure which
version of Outlook created the Archive file, but I think it was 2003 without
the SP-1 update.

Any way to retrieve the lost information?

Thanks,
Paul B
