APS status indicators on cassettes incorrect: how to chage?

Not really a scanning question, but maybe someone here knows?

I have two APS films I need to scan. I know for dure they are procesed:
I have the index prints in front of me and the serial number on them
corresponds to those on the cassettes. But the APS status indicators
are set incorrectly: one to partially exposed, one to fully exposed. The
fs4000 won't scan them (though it seems to try: there's a lot of motor
noise).

Any idea how to change these indicators?
