hallo,
i just switched TS (w2000 adv srv) from administration to application mode,
and since then some users cannot start programs (outlook etc...) . Some of
them can start it. Rights have both the same. I tried reinstall office XP,
no progress. That users with problem can do whatever needed only with
administration rights(when added to administrator group). So i thing there
something wrong with writting in regisstry or what...

any ideas? thanks...

I assume that you reinstalled all programs in "install" mode (by
using Add/Remove programs) after the switch to Application mode?
Otherwise, users will get the problems that you describe.

Even if you did, some programs demand elevated user rights on the
file system or some registry keys. As with all permission
problems, I would download FileMon and RegMon from
http://www.sysinternals.com/. Run them as administrator, start
a TS session as a normal user and try to run the application.

FileMon and RegMon will show you all "access denied" errors
that occur, so that you can give your users the necessary
permissions on a file-to file or Registry subkey basis.
