Hi

While installing the Windows IIS server on my computer, we changed the
following setting (the English is a translation and may not be right word
for word)

Local Security >Software Restrictions>Approved Editors.

I clicked on 'final user' instead of 'Local Administrator';

The result was catastrophic. Half of Norton Systems Works 2003 stopped and
the change even caused an error in Microsoft Updates.

What I'd like to know is why? As my account is an administrators account,
albeit the account is in my name and not called 'administrator, I can't
understand why this change had such an effect.

Thanks for any help with this whacky function.

Dave Neve
