Appointments made by Assistants with Editor Rights

I'm wondering if there is a way to distinguish appointments made by "the
boss" and appointments made by the assistant with editor rights.

We have outlook 2007. We run an exchange server. We have conference room
calendars so they can be added as resources. The problem is that both the
boss and assistant create/change appointments on the bosses calendar. If a
resource is added to the appointment, only the original person who created it
has access to change the time of the meeting. For instance if the assistant
creates it, if the boss tries to make a change s/he gets an error that he
does not have permission even though s/he is marked as the organizer. I was
never able to find a fix for this problem, my conclusion was that is couldn't
be fixed.

Right now my users what to know if there is a way to tell who created it the
assistant or the boss. In the bottum right hand corner it will also state
the boss edited it last even though it was the assistant. I'm thinking there
isn't a way to tell, but I thought I would ask to see if anyone else knew.
