Appointment sizes, Outlook 2007

It seems to me that the size in kb on a standard appointment has increased
since we upgraded to Outlook 2007. If a colleague sends a invitation to join
a meeting, it's about 70-85 kb, which is a bit of a problem when we
afterwards sync our calendar to the cell phone. There is no attachment to the
invite. Anyone experienced the same?

What phone/sync process do you use? My appointments change to a text format
my device can read, not the outlook format.

Hi Diane.

We use Mail for Exchange on Nokia phones. Sync still works fine, but it
takes some time because of the size of the appointments...

attachments but the file size of each item is more than 2MB...one of which is
10MB! ??? It's is strange since there are no attachments? Any ideas?
