Hello,

I’ve been having a strange issue with some of my distribution groups sent to
users using Outlook 2003. I send an appointment request to my distribution
group and when someone accepts it says “accepted on behalf of distribution
group” (or declined).

Additionally

1. No permissions have been set for this user through Exchange
2. The user claims they click nothing besides accept or decline

I am seeing a similar problem and permissions all look ok and no delegates have been defined. Do you happen to know if the acceptance was sent from a pc or a mobile device - in my case all were sent from an iPhone so I'm wondering if that is a factor.

It could be a factor, but without knowing how the accounts are configured,
it's impossible to say with certainty. You also don't state your Outlook
version of account type.
