Appointment Reoccurance not showing in Calendar

I am running Outlook 2003. I have set up a reoccurance of an event to happen
on Wednesday at 3:30 to happen weekly for 9 occurances.
When I display the fiest Event for the Series, it shows that it is set up
that day and will occur 9 times weekly.
But when I look at the Calender for the next 8 Wednesdays at that time, the
event does not appear. Why isn't this being shown as busy for those times?
