If i amend an appointment in outlook, when i save the changes, the
appointment automatically becomes recurring indefinately.
I am running vista ultimate and office 2007 with outlook 2007.
I also have a blackberry that synchronises with outlook, but if i amend the
appointment on my blackberry, the amendment works fine.

I have the same issue with Outlook 2007. When I modify an appointment and
samve it, it becomes recurring. I must conclude it is a bug.

Sounds like you have a Dell. In Add or Remove Programs, locate
"Outlookaddinsetup" and remove it.
