appointment not storing or showing properly

Here's a problem I cannot solve and I know outlook.

When a user makes an appointment in the calendar, the appointment flies up
to above the start time in a blacked out area and has no relation to the
date or time of appointment. Installing a new calendar did not wotk,
dragging and dropping the appt to the correct time did not work. Exporting
the data and reimporting did not work. SAetting larger folder sizes and
repairing the pst did not work. The date time locally is fine.

I have never seen thsi before and cannot come up with a solution for our
frutrated user. Can anyone else?
