I just want a report showing 1 line per appt with date, time, subject and
location for a specified date range.

Create a "View" that shows exactly that. Go to View/Current View/Define
Views/New - name the View and click OK. Then you can select relevant fields
(date, time, subject, location) and filter on the dates required.

Thanks. That is close. I chose 3 fields: start, subject and location. It
also displays the comment parts of the appt. I don't want it but I can't see
how to remove it. And recurring events only show the first time.
