I recently downloaded the XP windows patch for the
blaster worm. When installing the patch I get to the
Wizard setup program and recieve the following error
message.
"KB823980 Setup Error"

"setup could not verify the integrity of the file
update.inf. Make sure the cryptographic service is
running on this computer".

Do you have any suggestions on what needs to be done.
I did verify the cryptographic service was running on my
PC.

cryptographic service is dependant on remote proceedure
call (RPC) is that also running
