Hello All,

I am trying to apply the MS03-037 (VBA) patch
(Project2000-KB822478-FullFile.MSP) to Project 2000 Administration
Installation Point (MSI). But I get the following error msg. Project 2002
works just fine.

msiexec /a q:\path\to\prj2k\install.msi /p Project2000-KB82247
8-FullFile.MSP

Windows Installer

The upgrade patch cannot be installed by the Windows Installer service
because the program to be upgraded may be missing, or the upgrade patch may
update a different version of the program. Verify that the program to be
upgraded exists on your computer and that you have the correct upgrade
patch.

Is anyone else running ito this issue? Thanks.

You need to have Service Release 1 installed for the patch to install.
You can download the service release and install it first.
