Applying an image to a server with different drive controller.

We are trying to implement some resilience for 2 servers
using a 3rd server. The servers are all DELL Poweredge
6300/6400 models, however they all have slightly different
PERC2 RAID controllers.

We have made an image of one of the servers with Windows
2000 installed and applied it to our resilient box but
when the resilient box comes up we get
an "INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE" error. This is obviously due
to the different PERC drivers on the two servers. I had
hoped we could get into Safe Mode and update the drivers
that way but no joy.

Is there a way for me to get the image applied and then
update the drivers to the version required by the
resilient server?

If I was to do a Repair from the installation CD how much
would other re-installation work would I need to do once
Windows 2000 has re-launched.

And just to complicate matters I will also need to be
doing this with an NT 4 server as well.

Any help greatly appreciated.
