New corporate design is causing difficulty with old
presentation updates, so I created an new template without
input boxes, to overcome placement differences.

On updating an old presentation to the new design it looks
fine until the file is saved and closed. On reopening the
file, there are black lines (indicating placement
holders). I tried setting the default for placement
holders to 'no lines'.

I'd be very grateful for any suggestions.

Should have said that the current template has been
created in Office 2000 ... old presentations could have
been created in anything from Office 6 to 2000.

Make sure the placeholders are also set to "no fill."
