I use outlook to record my time using excel word etc but it suddenly stopped.
Now when I go into outlook tools option the apply button is greyed out ?

Any ideas why ?

Because you haven't changed any options?
Additionally it could be that you haven't activated your version of Outlook
yet.

My problem is that Outlook has suddenly stopped recording which excel, word
etc doc I'm using and for how long, I though the greyed out apply box may be
a result\cause of the problem

When I go into options and untick the boxes it will not let me apply any
changes.

This problem of suddenly stopping recording usage of excel is also
experienced by other people in a query under the heading Journal has stopped
automatically recording
