Hi all--
Hoping someone can't point me in the right direction to fix this.
I recently had a hard disk crash and had to reinstall my laptop from
scratch. I am running WinXPPro and have updated with all the patches from
Microsoft Update. I leave the laptop running al the time as I have auto
backups running to an external HD and to the internet (critical business
files).
Sometimes, when leaving the laptop I may have one application open and
minimized. When I return to the laptop a few hours later, I can't restore
the application. I can restart it but then I have two of the same
applications appearing on the taskbar. If I close down the second instance
of the application sometimes it only disappears and sometimes both
applications disappear from the task bar.
Any help would be appreciated.
