W2k Pro SP4 w updates on a Sempron-pwered box with 512MG ram. Primarly
used for running Quick Books accounting software.

My Add/Remove programs CP does not list all of the apps on the box.

Such as Quick Books 2006. It's on the box, but not listed in the CP
listing. I need it to be there to perform some maintanience on it.

Why would that be? ANd how can I overcome this?

(I also see a similar issue on my laptop running XP Home)

Check the application's C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start
Menu\Programs folder for an uninstall routine or you can navigate to;
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\SomeProgram
and execute the "UninstallString"
from the command line.
