After installing windows xp sp2 I'm unable to run .vbd
(visualbasic userdocument) files. It keeps showing 'open
or save' dialog every time I try to run it. How do I get
rid of this dialog and just run it like it used to be?

Thanks,
Ganesh

I had the same type of issues with a client. I was able to solve it
one of 2 ways.

1.) Open Windows Explorer, goto Tools --> Folder Options --> File
Types Tab. Locate the VBD extension. If it is there delete it, if it
is not continue on to #2.

2.) Locate any 'VBD' file on your system and right-click and choose
'Open With' --> 'Select a Program From the list' --> Choose 'Internet
Explorer' and confirm the the 'Always use the selected program for
this kind of file' checkbox is checked. Now try running your
application again. If you get the error still, now go back and do #1

Hope This Helps...

Peter
