Hi

I have two uses that use my laptop. The one user installed
an application on her profile which is fine, but now this
application starts up automatically under my profile as
well and puts itself in my taskbar. How do i get rid of
it? It is not in the startup folder so it must be
something else...
any ideas?

It may not be in your startup folder but it might be in the All Users
startup folder. Check there and delete it if it is. Make sure that the other
user still has the app in their start up folder too
