I have a terminal emulator used by our customers. This
emulater is installed on a PC and then used to telnet to
a Linux\Unix system that is text based to do their work.
They also use this to print on the PC from the server.
The users that install Microsoft Antispyware get all
kinds of printing errors. To correct the issue they must
un-install Microsoft AntiSpyware. Disabling features in
AntiSpyware did not help. Would like customer to be able
to print out of our application without the error and
have it resided with AntiSpyware. The application used
is called wIntegrate. What can AntiSpyware be looking
for in regards to causing such issues for us in regards
to printing?

Yes it is. This vendor supplies us the software and we
repackage it and make modifications to fit our customers
needs. One part of the modifications is the printing. We
actually use a VB exe that picks up spooled files and
prints them.

Thanks for the additional details.

One of the bugs in this beta that we have a cure for apparently involves
mismatched versions of VB runtime files.

The cure is to install a Service Pack for the VB runtime:

KB article

I wonder if something somewhat similar is involved in your issue--i.e. does
applying this SP help? I expect that a number of VB related issues will be
corrected at a later time in the beta.
