"written".

I get these errors. Everything disappears and comes back.

Hi,
You may get your Hardware checked. Especially the RAM,
Motherboard(including the RAM Slots). This might help.

Best of Luck,

That sounds nice, but how do I test what you describe? Don't say take it to
the computer store, because all they do is swap out hardware, and I can do
that here. The BIOS tests the RAM at bootup ok. That's the only test I know.

Anytime I have ever encountered this kind of error, it has resulted from
applications/drivers conflicting with each other. Does this error message
you get have any info in the title bar? With these kinds of errors, the
title bar usually lists the application that is either causing the prob or
the application which is having the prob. To figure out what is wrong, I
usually have to uninstall 1 app at a time, reboot, and see if I can make the
error occur again until it stops occuring. If you wipe out your machine and
reload it fresh, these 2 apps will most likely still conflict if they are
both put back on your machine. Make sure you have all of
the most up to date drivers that are XP WHQL certified.
