Application Not Responding

I am using Window’s Vista and have multiple applications installed beyond
Office 2007. I have seen Vista continually produce the message that the
current application is not responding. I have viewed the Vista event viewer
and have noted in the Windows Log an extreme amount of Application Error
events and Information events. Will I adversely affect system performance by
deleting these logs?
