I have a headless box running 24/7 which after a few days needs restarting.
On this box there are 2 user logins, under one i have CCTV display and
recording software running, Under the second I have media streaming software
running to feed Kiss and Neuston media boxes.
I would like to schedule a daily system restart, but also automatically
start up the cctv software and GUI under the CCTV login, and under the media
login start up the media streaming software and their gui's too.
This way when i connect to the box via TS, i can login with the cctv login
and see the cctv display, or using the media login and find my streaming
software running.
Currently I have yet to get the applications to run? I can not see an
interactive option on the scheduled task GUI? And have no idea on how to
automatically sequentially or concurrently login to the system to start the
applications. These are all applications I am trying to run, not software
servers.
Removing the system admin password would automatically login with that
account, but I do not want to run any applications as system admin, nor
would I like to use an admin password to check cctv status while in an
internet cafe where a key logger just might be running.
