Application hangs on Windows 2000 Server

I have a .net application (Windows form based) which runs perfectly
well on the Windows 2000 Professional and Windows Server 2003
Enterprise Edition. When run on the Windows 2000 Server it hangs.

The form_load event goes ahead without any problems. When I try to
move the window it just refuses to move and i need to kill the appln
manually.

The configuration on both Server and Professional are the same.

Anybody knows the reason as to why?
