Application finishes install every time I logon

Hi,

I have installed the new program for the HP 2500 series
printer. everytime I logon it "finishes" the install. I
suspect what is happening is that the NT profile is being
updated but not written back. then when every I logon it
uses the old Profile and thus has to "finish" the install
again. there is only a single user configured on my system
and this user has admin rights.

I also tried to set autologon to on, this does the same
thing, it is reset everytime I logon
