Application error, aborted transfer using FAST

Close to the end of transferring files and settings from one XP machine to
another, I received the following error. Can one of you decipher this and
tell me what to do to fix it? I was using a shared network directory to store
the temporary files between two machines connected by a crossover cable.

The instruction at "0x7c9122ba" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The
memory could not be "read".

Click OK to terminate the program
