      3rd Apr 2005
i'm running XP pro w/sp2, in my home we have 2 IBM compatibles both with XP
pro, we also have 2 MAC systems.

the MACs can see the windows, but not the other way around.

believe i need appletalk? maybe?

how do i get the XP pcs to see the MAC pcs?

the MACs see and connect to my XP machines......
i wish to get the XP machines to connect to the MACs.......
as i need the XP systems to connect, sounds like an XP question.

Truthfully, it is not an XP problem. It is a networking problem.
Somewhere in your setup a protocol is not being looked at properly -
and it's not in the XP box or the Apple box, but somewhere in between,
either with hardware, software, or both.
