Hi all,

I have a very lightly used Apple LaserWriter Pro 600 laser printer
that is scrunching pages. The page partially comes out, but then jams.
When pulled out the rest of the way it's crunched up liek an accordian
at the end. I've inspected what I can, and the rollers at the output
tray are spinning, but perhaps they're slipping(?), or perhaps some
rollers deep inside are slipping or not spinning at all(?)

Any suggestions?
TIA -JAZ-

It is a common problem with HP Laserjet 4, 4 Plus, and Apple LW PRO 600,
630 due to worn out upper and lower exit roller sets. Please check this
link if you are not very handy or need instructions on how to do it:

http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/kae0.html

If you don't need any instruction and think you could figure it out by
yourself, try LaserPros International at:

888-558-5277, ext 122 and asked them for the Lower and Upper exit rollers
sets. They are about $12 or so.

Are you sure the fuser rollers have been released?

I remember when the LaserWriter 600's and HP LaserJet 4's (same print
engine) came out, 9 out of 10 trouble calls were because the new owner
didn't read the instructions, and drop the fuser rollers down into operating
position.

You never know. Someone might have moved them back up. Take a look!

They're not up (tho once I did forget and left them up when I replaced
the fuser lamp
I'm checking Dewaine's advice on the other rollers.
Thanks

Do not clean them but replace.
Also the eight black plastic rollers.
