i used to have this xp program which applied different
themes for you, it was only a trial and time ran out. So
i uninstalled and then i tryed chaing theme using the
appearance and theme in control panel and when i changed
it everything went black except the icons. Any way to
reset it w/o deleting the account.
Only the account i changed the theme on went all black
the other accounts are fine.

Try using System Restore, Start\All Programs\Accessories\System Tools\System
Restore.

Assuming you can boot and enter your password:

[Winkey]+[R]

Then type the following line...

control desktop

[Enter]
[Alt] + [Down Arrow]
[w]
[Enter]
[Enter]

XP should have a bit of a think for 5 seconds and then
give you a standard theme.
