Something in my system is causing XP to reset the appearance about 50% of
the time when I start up the computer. Under the Appearance tab, I select
the Windows Classic style and it takes that selection and works just fine.
However, quite often when I reboot it changes the appearance back to Windows
XP style. It's easy to reset it back to Classic and takes only a moment,
however, it's an annoyance and something that should not be happening.
There is obviously something in the system that just won't allow it to
consistently "hold" the setting. I've searched the web and can't find any
references to this. Any suggestions?
