Hello,
When I am using my Front Page 2003 program, and editing
a file or page object, suddenly my AOL programs begins
opening and actually starting dialing my modem right in
the middle of working on Front page. Obviously AOL is triggered
somewhere in Frontpage and is searching for some information.
I do not want this to happen. Is there some way for me to
set the "options" so that AOL never interferes when I am
working in Front Page. Thankyou very much, Su

Sounds like a good question for AOL support.

Or a good reason to get rid of AOL.

Web developers just don't use AOL for their browsers. Use Firefox and IE>

Best solution is to get rid of AOL and also get DSL or cable.

It sounds like AOL thinks it is suppposed to connect to the net for some
reason.

Does your page reference any file that is not on your hard disc?

FrontPage is seen as "Internet Explorer" by AOL.

Try opening up IE and see if AOL dials automatically then too.

You just need to find and disable the "dial automatically when I try to use
the internet" option in AOL.

In any case, it's an AOL question not a FrontPage question. Go ask them
about it.
