Problems receiving attachments sent from the AOL client to an Exchange 2007
mailbox. Client is Outlook 2003

Message is successfully received using Outlook 2003 however the attachment
is NOT visible. If the message is forwarded the attachment is then visible in
message as usual.

The same file sent from the AOL address to the same 2007mailbox shows up as
it should using Outlook 2007. The problem seems to be isolated to Outlook
2003.

If sent in plain text from AOL instead of HTML\Rich text the attachment will come through.

Thank you Peter.

I discoverd after posting the question that your solution works. Switching
to Plain Text from HTML the attachment shows up. Is this a known issue
between Exchange 2007 and Outlook 2003? Is there a solution to the issue or
just a work around?

While I appreciate the temporary solution.....I finds it odd that this worked
fine with Exchange 2003 and not Exchange 2007. I also did discover that if
you use the OWA client to review the same email message....you can see the
attachement and message that was sent from AOL. Seems like Exchange 2007 is
having an issue with embededed messages?
