my computer has an aol account attached to it but i run most things off the
internet using Mozilla.

Not all websites accept this browser setup so i downloaded internet explorer
11 beta but it always open as AOL explorer and i\s just as soon not have
anything involving aol associated with my internet usage.

can someone tell me how to clean this up?

Running "beta" software comes with it's own risk...as you have discovered.
Dump AOL and get a real ISP, and then see how Mozilla runs

IMHO Richard

You will have to uninstalled the AOL software.

If you have AIM Triton, AOL Explorer comes bundled with it. You would
have to go back to a previous version of AIM to get rid of AOL
Explorer.

Go to>Start>Control Panel>Add/remove>AOL toolbar & remove it.
I also dislike AOL version of IE. Very "net-nanny"-ish. IE will then
run as it should.
