Dear all,

When I try to import a table from a secured database (I set up the security
for this database) to another secured database, the following information was
shown up:

You do not have the necessary permission to the ‘*.mdb’ object. Have your
system administrator or the person who created this object establish the
appropriate permissions

Please help me for this problem. How can I set the appropriate permissions
for it?

Were they secured using the same workgroup file? If so are you logging in
as someone who should have the appropriate permissons to those tables?

If the two mdb files were secured using the same workgroup file, then log in
as a user who has permissions to the tables.

Probably though, you secured them with different mdw files? If so, then
create the exact same user in both - i.e. same username/PID. Assign
appropriate permissions to this user, and they'll be able to import.
