not fussed 'bout the n'g, cos' an o/s is an o/s..... just want to know if anyone here use Gmail?
if so,, can you tell me how to bludddy copy n' p to gmail?
example,, if i type something in notepad or word, then when mailing someone from gmail, i decide
to 'copy' what i wrote earlier from 'notepad or word',, yet gmail wont allow even an option to come
up on menu... have tried this for months,, tis a tad annoying.

if any others got this prob', then watch this space....

See this has nothing to do with Windows XP

But in general use of Windows, right click with your mouse in message body
and select paste.

Also you could use the Control+C and Control+V to copy and paste.

It's not a Gmail problem. Gmail depends upon the copy/paste built-in
functions of Windows.

I suggest you ask your question in a Windows-related group.

No, wait...

Just place your cursor in the message body and paste. Works for me.

IE version? What anti-virus application or security suite is installed?
What anti-spyware applications (other than Defender)? What third-party
firewall (if any)?

IE Tools | Internet Options | Security | [zone in which you're accessing
Gmail webpage] | Miscellaneous | Drag and drop or copy and paste files
(enable/check).

Shortcut for Copy => CTRL+C

Shortcut for Paste => CTRL+V

What does GMAIL have to do with XP? NOTHING. Your post does not
belong HERE.

Also, try typing in ENGLISH.

Bad idea. Please begin a new thread in
microsoft.public.win98.gen_discussion newsgroup about this problem.
