Anyone seen this?

Just a Quickie,
Anyone seen this happening,
When i dowuble click an MPG/WMV it launchers Media Player
but the video does not play and if I end it comes up
Error# C00D11CD

However If I launch Media player THEN double click a file
it plays.

Reproducable every time, and cannot find anything in
Knowledge

Didnt used to happen, may be to do with new Hercules ATI
Prophet Video card or Directx9 really not sure and
dont want to uninstall if its something easy.
