FYI: there are people that claim that The 4si, and even the 3si can be
made good-as-new by replacing a few easily available parts. See

I believe the 3si doesn't have low power idle, so it may be time to
retire it for the electric bill. . It may be workwhile keeping as a
backup.
The 4050 and 5Si printers I've known have been workhorses.
